The Humidity Zone

• Below 30%: Dry. Uncomfortable, but not a mold risk.
• 30–50%: Healthy. The range the EPA recommends.
• 50–60%: Watch. Ventilate and watch the trend.
• Above 60%: Act now. Run a dehumidifier and find the source.

Tip: With ±5% accuracy, treat a reading near a zone line as a range. A steady 52% is worth watching.
